Recently, we held a birthday dinner party on the Wine Steals patio in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. I decided that I wanted to steer away from the traditional bright decorations one could find somewhere like Party City, but instead, I wanted to have a sophisticated table setting with an adult modern flare. I needed something simple and had to assemble days in advance, so I was drawn to dried flower, twigs and rocks. I purchased the materials: short cylindrical vases, flexible twigs, variety of dried flowers in browns and yellows, and green and brown rocks. It seriously took a matter of 15 minutes to complete this project, and I was pleased with the results. The compliments at the party were an added bonus!
