milk bar






a good friend of mine sent an email to watch conan o'brien, as one of her friends she ran high school track with in virgina, christina tosi, was going on the show promoting her new book, momofuku milk bar.  as the pastry chef behind famed david chang's momfuku milk bars across nyc, the 28 year old also recently landed a feature in bon appetit.  tosi's unique recipes use ingredients easily found at a convenience stores, like potato chips, cornflakes and pretzels.  but it's her combinations that supposedly yield delicious results, as clearly observed by the many fans and the success of milk bar.  i wonder with such pedestrian ingredients, does this mean that the recipes might be easier to bake.... guess i'll have to get the cookbook and try it out.
