| The Lux Art Institute, in Encinitas, is hosting an event tonight, free to the public ($5 suggested donations), featuring the work of the new resident artist, Iva Gueorguieva. Her large, energetic abstract oil paintings have been shown both Nationally and Internationally, from CA to TX to NY to the Netherlands. Born in Bulgaria, she resides in Los Angeles, and will be in studio through 6 February (on exhibit through March). Lux at Night is a great opportunity to meet the resident artist, as well as enjoy an evening with hosted refreshments and music. Tonight, jazz guitarist Todd Pyke will be playing live in the Lux studio. |
