next monday (13 february) is the east village grub sprawl. from 6-10pm you can show up in this vibrant downtown neighborhood and try out $5 dishes at participating restaurants, cafes and venues. a complete list, along with food specials, are available on the grub sprawl website. it includes, but is not limited to, proper, mission brewery, el vitral, and hotel indigo. what's nice is that you don't have to buy tickets in advance, you simply show up, sign up and enjoy the sprawl. with upcoming destinations all over san diego, i am looking forward to the 12 march sprawl in encinitas!
