On Saturday afternoon I made my way down to La Jolla cove to the Museum of Contemporary Art to join a handful of other art-minded people to meet Jennifer Luce, one of nine San Diego designers featured in the exhibit Mix. Mix showcases these designers through six project rooms, with an atypical presentation of self-analysis. Che Bella organized the event, and the opportunity to walk through Jennifer's room with Jennifer herself was amazing. She explained her history, the objects she chose, her influences, her projects and her interests. While it is easy to appreciate a final product, it is rare that one gets a glimpse into the process behind it.
