I was reminded this morning just how lucky I am to live along the SoCal coast. I got up early and took Sasha down to the ocean, and it's amazing just how many people are out and about at sunrise. Not only is the water scattered with black dots of surfers in wetsuits, but the cliffs above and full of bikers, runners, walkers and people soaking in the views with a cup of coffee. After our cliff side loop, I took Sasha down to Cardiff State Beach, and let her off leash to release some additional energy. If dogs could smile, she had a huge grin. The beach was hers, and she was sprinting up and down chasing flocks of seagulls. A wonderful way to start my morning, and a serene way to wake up!
